I dont think they really have a submissive/dominant relationship. I think they both are submissive or dominant for different things and situations. But it's obvious that Tim is WAY more outgoing than Gavin, at least he's a whole lot more talkative, chatty, cheeky, etc, but at the same time, totally insecure, whereas Gavin is quiet, but secure...

Tim is obviously more out then gavin is. Tim is proud, and gavin is proud of tim.
When Gavin upsets TIm, be it with a nudey mag, a fiance, winning a board game, lying about going to his mother's, or getting a promotion; then TIm is very much an angry young man. He tries to keep gavin on a short rope and hates it when he is lied to.
But Gavin is Tim's protector because deep down Tim is a gentle scared little boy

Agreed. But I think there's a side to Gavin that we don't see. I mean, we do see how angry he gets, but... I'm not saying that he would get very angry with Tim over the smallest thing, but if they had a huge row (like they have done), I can see him getting more and more upset until he cracks. But afterwards he would do his utmost to make it up to Tim. That's what makes him sweet.

I concur. they have troubles like any regular couple, but Gavin loves Tim so much that getting out of some situations takes a bit more grovelling then he cares for. He doesn't want to lose Tim because of the fear someone else will get him and I don't think he could handle that

I do think we only see one side of the relationship on screen. I can imagine it being very different as home. I just hope they clear up their disagreements quickly, and get back to the Kinky Limbo!!

did he? I can't remember if there was ever a resolution betweeen them? Nah, that was left to the realms of fanfic. I'm sure it came up in pointed discussion, but only *after* the euphoria of finding out he was alive after all faded. I do have a certain amount of sympathy for Gavin, even if it didn't take me quite ten years. But then, I'd pretty much forgive Gavin anything. He makes me all gooshy. |

Depends what you mean by okay. The next ep had Brett the Male Model. ~dies~ I suppose they were very definitely still a couple then, given Tim's rabid possessiveness.

meh, knowing what's going on between those two is so hard, with the story ignoring them most of the time, or deliberately being all cliche or whatever, ignoring the fact that they're people, not just 'the gay guys, so lets make them funny and bitchy' grr.
by 'okay' i mean that they still like each other.
