I do think we only see one side of the relationship on screen. I can imagine it being very different as home. I just hope they clear up their disagreements quickly, and get back to the Kinky Limbo!! YEAH |

Gavin was cute at the end of S1 when Brittas was telling him about his suspicions about Tim being a 'left footer'. His assertiveness in not warning Brittas about Larry's plan from his anger about Brittas' bigotary statements and assumptions was well played.

yes, that was totally gorgeous. And tim's going "what???" and he's like "i'll explain later" sort of angry look on his face. He's so gorgeously protective!

It's the shocked look on his face when Brittas is talking to him, as if he can't believe this man's views about how homosexual employees will stop families attending - as if with Brittas running the place, they'd stay away because of him!
It probably re-affirmed his decision in the first episode to calm down Tim's enthusiasm when trying to swap shifts to get time off together, and not let on about their relationship just yet.

Gavin was so incredibly shocked but stunned and disappointed that Brittas would use terms like "left footer" rather than go striaght to the point.
I think that shocked Gavin alot.
He was defending Tim's honour.

after implying that Gavin should watch out for Tim in the showers etc etc... implied that being gay is worse than being some sort of shower pervert/rapist type person... that's horrible. I'm sure when i saw that scene i gasped with shock

Especially as he was involved in a court case for an incident at a gym when he was in his late teens. He would know all about how it felt and would not want Tim to go through anything like that.

Also due to the different writers near the end, Gavin's mother appears to have moved to Fiji! That's a long way to visit for a evening. We don't know if they actually moved to Fiji. Maybe they were on a holiday or just stayed there for the winter. Lots of retired couples go to a warm place during winter. |
