Who remembers in series one, when brittas was after a black guy for the opening of the leisure centre and commented that Gavin had been out with one the other night.
The look on both Tim and Gavin's faces was priceless.

But they both seemed to have sorted this out later in the episode when discussing where the water was going. Gavin also comforted Tim during an "We're all going to die!" outburst, AND Tim let Gavin comfort him. Sweet.

yeah, that makes me think that it wasn't what they thought... like there really was a reasonable explanation. Or, Tim would still be furious.

Love does make people act weirdly though - I have a friend who's been with his girlfriend for a coupla years now, and whatever she does, he sticks with her. Even when she tried to kill him (yes, really). She is a few customers short of a leisure centre though, we think  I hope Tim and Gav did sort it out, and Gav isn't a lying toerag...but you never know. xx |

Just read this thread and haha I saw that episode a little while back... the look Tim gives Gavin is priceless... then its Laura to the rescue to stop Brittas getting another foot in that big mouth of his. Do you think Laura knew about Tim & Gavin right from the start if she was sorta covering for them then?

HAHAHA! I Was too young to notice back then... but before I rewatched the whole series recently I did remember Tim & Gavin to always be around each other.

If I had any doubts in that first episode, my suspicions were confirmed when Tim was all 'we have all the same hobbies...' (ie, rambling) and Gavin does that little tug of his jumper all 'shhh' like, and Tim grins in that winning way trying to come to some sort of acceptable point to his rambling that doesn't instantly out them. And then Gavin sort of 'covering' Tim later on when the table tennis guy was swinging around the place. And of course the whole 'you said you were at your mothers' in the second episode... that made me definitely sure.
But, I was 14 when I first started watching.
