I have sent a reply to Tim, saying that his email address has been removed and directing him to here, I have told him that if he doesn't want to post directly to the board he can email me his comments etc and I will post them on his behalf.
I will urge you all to try and get to see Tim's play 'Pete and Me', I'm going to do all I can to get to see it.
Regards Rob

Gosh! I'm a little lost for words. What a lovely, lovely man. It must be odd for him having a job he finished over a decade ago constantly dragged up, yet still he was lovely. I would love to see his play, but not only do I live in Yorkshire, I too work in a school & have 2 kids in(a different!) school, & it's in term time. But yet, I might just have to try & go. If anyone else is going, they absolutely MUST let us know what it was like. PLEASE! Just an note for Robie - the email was very tactfully done (brilliant, no less), & if we could get notice of any thing he's in or done I'd really, really try & go, so let's hope he will let you know. I have accommodating relatives in Brighton, which, whilst I've never been, I don't think is very far from Eastbourne (presuming the school where the play is on is in the town?). Oh, & thankyou for enquiring about the W!

I have accommodating relatives in Brighton, which, whilst I've never been, I don't think is very far from Eastbourne (presuming the school where the play is on is in the town?). Brighton is about 25 miles from Eastbourne (I live in Brighton, my OH works in Eastbourne) It's an easy train ride, or car journey along the coast. The school is quite close to the railway station and easy to find - I've been there a few times - and there is a large theatre there, which TM runs. But obviously some of the work he has written is performed elsewhere - London, for instance. xxx

Ah - do you know, I might have been to Eastbourne on one of my visits to Brighton but it's about 5 years ago - is there an unusually large number of funeral directors in the town? And is there a swimming pool with waves & a slide? If so, then I vaguely remember taking my eldest (youngest hadn't arrived then) there. You're right it's not so far away. Unfortunately Brighton itself is about 300 miles from me....... Nevertheless, it could be worth a trip.

A message from the Man Him Self!
Dear All at Brittas Empire Talk,
I have seen your site and I'm very happy to see that people loved the show as much as we did making it, it was great fun working on the shows.
I'm sorry to say that I will not be able to join you "on the board" I fully appreciate that you members are kind and want the best for the show and its performers but I'm genuinely horribly embarrassed by seeing my name anywhere - one reason why I have moved on from the business.
I wish you all well
Best Wishes
Tim
Hi All,
Well there you have it. Tim doesn't really want us to contact him. I have asked Tim to send me all his news, e-flyers etc on his plays, so I can pass them on to you. But I'm afraid that its all you are going to get. I'm not going to waste his or my time with emails of questions from here. Sorry, I have passed on our Best Wishes and wished him every success in his future works. It has been a real pleasure talking to him
Tim has asked one question, "Has any one else from the cast been here or joined the site?"
I know that Russell has seen the site and I have told TM so, but I don't really know if anyone else has been here, any ideas?
Regards
Rob

To be honest you can't blame him - he already answered my one & only question (apart from what the W was, & that he's still alive!), & that's that we're very, very unlikely to see him on the TV again. Which is a shame. Ah well, at least I got to see the Doctors episode (thanks again crazyfrog86). Nice man, though.

Can't believe I've been a memeber of this site for years and only just seen this message. How sweet of TM to reply to a fan email. It must be so weird for him to still have people asking questions about a job he done in the 90s, but I think its awesome that people are still interested in Brittas and TM was kind enough to reply to the email and take a quick look at the message boards. Gavin was one of my favourite character in Brittas Empire, TM is awesome!
I so wish I had his autograph.
