A friend smsed me very excitedly the other day saying that this year they're doing a new series (four episodes only) of Red Dwarf, using all the original cast!

It was in the paper, which said the highlight was the 'making of' which will be shown at the end. Oh yes - it'll be on Dave over Easter. (My other half is a Red Dwarf fan - the only thing we agree on is that Chris Barrie is very, very funny!).

I'm so excited!! The adverts for it are so cool and I always squeal! The cast don't look any different from when they left off. Chris Barrie is still yummy!  |

There's a really classic Brittas picture of Chris Barrie (in a then & now article) in my TV guide which made me smile. I'm not a Red Dwarf fan, yet still I'm excited....

The cast (minus Craig Charles) was on BBC Breakfast News this morning, with a couple of clips of the new episodes - looks pretty good! |

I never saw the episodes On Friday Dave wasn't working, its hardly ever works for us, and on Saturday we went away on holiday for the week. We have a caravan in a holiday camp in Devon and we went there. But although the changeover is happening soon in that area they hadn't put a digibox in our one yet so we couldn't watch it there either. A man came and put one in yesterday morning just before we left and when we came home yesterday we found that Dave was working for once on our TV here. Argh!  Too late.  |

I agree, it was a good show... Although could have done with another episode. Danny hasn't ages well. I did hear that there was half a chance of another series at one point. But, I wouldn't hold my breath.
