SNOW DAY!!!!!!!

What's it like where you guys are???

Who has a day off work/college/kids off school today due to the snow???

Snowy!
Not as deep as a day we had before Christmas, but my kids' school & mine are closed! I would say Hurray, only they're bored already........Might get my Brittas box set out as they both love it!

Yup, I'm off work - still got up at 0430 this morning to ponder going in...but I can't even get to the station, let alone manage my hour commute into London and then get to work! (All London buses are cancelled, most trains are cancelled and you can't get out of Brighton unless you're in a 4x4!).

I felt a little guilty, so I spoke to the other guy who gets a train in, and he wasn't going in...then I called on of the guys who only lives 10 mins walk away and HE wasn't going in!!! Then the Boss said he wasn't going in either so we've all given ourselves today and probably tomorrow off...woohooo. Now trying to persuade my other half (who is also off due to the weather) to come down the beach for a snowball fight.

And brace myself for all the work we must do when we do go back...

Apologies for the size, I realise they are still huge, but you should have seen the size they were before, lol. Also I seem to have real problems resizing photos on photobucket. These are large, medium seemed to small. I don't completely understand resizing on photobucket.

Yes, a couple of them are of a stuffed cat, lol. It's kind of a long story which started on Facebook. I took them for a specific website but thought I'd put them on here anyway. ;D

Hi All, The first day We had to close the school since 1984 and it was not snow in 1984 that closed the school but a fire! We have already said we are closed Tuesday too, we hope to re-open wednesday if 1) we can make the site safe and 2) if we can get staff into school for lessons.

From what TM has told me they were closing Eastbourne College at 3:30pm today!

I have some photos of here too! Once I have them ready I'll post them.

I don't have any problems with work to catch up on, I live so close to the school I can walk in and unset the alarms and get on with anything I want! "There is no one here to check up on me!"

It does not look like I'm going to get my snowball fight. We have snow here today, but nobody around to have a snowball fight or build a snowman with Lol.

Does everyone else have snow again today?

We have snow again too. I got Monday & Tuesday off, but sadly all schools are open now. We have built a snowman though, which I was very proud of until we ventured out & saw about 3 that were at least 6 feet tall!
