yeah, but i think i have worked it out, they have 5 kids (gordon and helen) series6 and 7 they say they have 4 kids, but we know they have 5 kids altogther (as i said before) but also their eldest is in his gcses/alevels *cant remember which* in series 5, so that could mean that hes gone to live else where either to uni or just left (with helen and gordon as parents i'd leave as soon as possible!!)

yeah i think that (because of the whole changing writers at s6 and 7) the consistancey kinda went, it was the same fo a few things: gavin's age, brittas's age, how long tim and gavin had been together amount of kids, carole's kids etc lol... but we love it all the same

you really would think that they'd have tried to find out those details...

Sometimes Gordon has 2 stepsons and sometimes 3. Then the twins should make 5, but the writers seem to have settled on 4. The older boys are sometimes called Tom and Jonathan. The Brittas twins are Matthew and Mark.
Carole's twins are variously referred to as Tom and Emily, Jack and Jessica, and Emily and Jessica.
My advice is not to worry about it! ;D

As for Helen’s kids, two of them can be seen in the distance in the first episode, but that’s it. A shame, because it’s interesting seeing how they cope with a neurotic mess of a mother and an annoying father.
