I realise that in series 7 she becomes a counsellor there but I guess she is crazy!

Well, I think Helen is a normal housewife from series 1-6 but in series 7, she becomes a counsellor. And she is friendly with the staff members and Laura in particular helps her out on coping with Brittas.
