I've heard The Brittas Empire being compared to Fawlty Towers before and Mr Brittas being compared to Basil Fawlty. But don't you think he's also a bit like Frank Spencer. Well meaning but everything he does turns into a catastrophe. One main difference is that although they are both incompetent when it comes to work Brittas can hold onto his job, Frank Spencer can't ;D

I'm not sure I can see the similarities between Frank Spencer & Brittas. Maybe it's just blindness brought on by an irrational hatred of the former? Hated that programme.  |

I think he's very much like Frank Spencer - perhaps better, in my opinion. I've never really thought of The Brittas Empire being like Fawlty Towers.
I'll always prefer Brittas over Fawlty anyway. ;D

It's a character (with a very squeaky voice) from the sitcom, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. I don't recall the actor's name at the moment though.  |
