Brittas Empire in Beautiful People

I was watching Beautiful People from before Christmas (still snowed in - 3rd day now.....), & there's 2 clips of The Brittas Empire in it! I was more excited about this than I ought to be, so thought I'd post it here, where people won't think I'm mad. It was where Gavin was saying the urine content of the pool was down to 9%, then Carole & Brittas mention the millenium. One of the characters in Beautiful People then say they love the Brittas Empire & 'that woman who keeps crying is hilarious'!!!!

If anyone's interested, it's series2, ep 5 "How I Got My Turner."
I'm always pretty thrilled to come across Brittas (& especially Gavin....) unexpectedly. Made my afternoon.

OMG! I would LOVE to see a clip! I don't watch Beautiful People, is it on BBC iPlayer or YouTube? This is so weird because I watched an episode of Brittas yesterday, the last episode (which I always find incredibly upsetting but the first part is pretty good), and they mention the millenium in that one!

I'm guessing it must have been the last episode they were watching then. It's great to know it's not forgotten (although Beautiful People is set in the 90's). I'm not sure about iplayer, but it is a BBC2 programme, so it's worth a look. Can't find it on Youtube. It was just such a lovely surprise, especially as I haven't watched any Brittas for a while.
