o yeah, it was the one where most people got hypnotised and brittas wants someone to massage mrs b's jaw and tim perks up saying massage eh, in a very suggestive way lol

um. the massage thing wasn't a 'hobby'. That was Tim screwing with Brittas's mind. He knows that Brittas suspects that he's gay, and he's the sort of guy who would try to deliberately make the homophobic people uncomfortable. So, when Brittas comes in saying "does anyone know anything about massage?" and Gavin's like "massage??" (because it's a pretty random request) and Tim turns to him with a raised eyebrow, going "what sort of thing do you have in mind? *smirk* " and Brittas looks horrified, and says it's for helen, her jaw's locked up and Tim's like 'ah. nevermind.' and turns back. He was just stuffing around with gay stereotypes for a bit there to freak him out. He probably would be good at massaging shoulders of sore friends and stuff, he seems like that sort of guy, but with the combination of raised eyebrows and stuff... he was talking about ... well, more intimate massage I guess I can say. And I *highly* doubt that Tim would ever go around doing that to random guys, or really want to do it to Brittas.
Yep, more random hobbies is what i'm looking for! So far, they seem like they don't do anything much in their free time at all.

um... gardening? I know they live in a flat but they might have a garden. um... baking cakes? spring cleaning? theres not really alot to do in the house. unless they have hobbies like cross stitching and building model aeroplanes :\

The 'singles club' which Gavin mentioned to Brittas was when he was asked if he attended the hypnotist show, and if there was a staff outing why wasn't Brittas informed so he could ban it! This is the same as Helen's locked jaw - Mr. Brittas Changes Trains.
Squash were Gavin pulls out and lets Tim down was a hypothetical scenario Brittas used to describe how you could log into the centre via your PC and play virtual reality squash. HTTP:// etc in S7. It goes something like this:
Brittas: Tim, you've arranged to play squash with Gavin but he's stood you up because he's (slight searching in Brittas mind for reason) decided to go out with his girlfriend. Plan of action.
Tim: There are a number of options Mr. Brittas. Tampering with his breaks; electrocuting him with his CD player.
Brittas: (interrupting) No. You play with yourself.
(Tim raises his eyebrows. Gavin's face freezes - see my avatar pic)
Brittas: (Continuing) Virtual reality Squash.
Not that I've seen that I'm quoting from memory or anything that sad you realise! Or that it's my favourite quote ever.

I only have a vague memory of the later episodes. If so, then I can see him actually doing geekier things like early computer games. Text based.  I might end up making them quite geeky... in a good sense, not the over the top stereotype sort of way. |

well in http://etc Tim new how to print off the time tables and do an order form for the coffee machine lol... but yeah I spose they could be good at them. and other games consoles too. I think it was nintendos and playstations back then lol.
