I am so happy I found this site. I love this show. I'm an African American female who recently found this treasure chest of Britcoms and then had them snatched away. Unfortunately, BBC America (I live in Ohio) has taken all Britcoms off the air and replaced them with shows like "How Clean is Your House" and some show about your attic. It's ridiculous.

PBS still shows "Keeping Up Appearances", "Last of the Summer Wine", "As Time Goes By", and "Are You Being Served?"

Cruelly, BBCA canceled "Brittas Empire", "Little Britain" and others.

I've asked my family for "Brittas Empire" DVDs for XMAS. I've asked early enough so it should be a lock.

Now that I've introduced myself, I'm going to browse this wonderful site. Thank you, I'm glad to find a place to discuss this show.

I'm a 14 year old girl currently residing in Sydney, and I love British comedy (aside from TBE, my favourite shows are Black Books and The Mighty Boosh).

Britcomgirl told me about this forum, thank you I, also, am very happy about joining it.
I've obviously not been a fan of the Brittas Empire since it first came out (ahem... wasn't alive then...) and I've just recently started to watch/become somewhat obsessed with it, but my mum tells me that I loved it when I was a toddler, haha. I'm only up to the third series atm 'cause I've been watching Red Dwarf mostly, which is also a great show.

Hmm... let's see, what else... I think Chris Barrie is uber awesome/hot and I'm a Laura/Brittas shipper I don't think there's anything else to say right now?
