Thanks for the JSJ forum link - have already signed up! No Brittas/Laura fics i'm afraid, I'm a slasher - so there's some Laura/Helen and Laura/Female fics rattling around my brain somewhere. Stay tuned (but not for too long, you may get square eyes waiting) Julie

Ah, another slasher. I hate my plot-bunny farm for Laura/Brittas; I don't have the blinkin' time to do anything about them. ...and they're beginning to chew through wiring in my head...

so there's some Laura/Helen and Laura/Female fics rattling around my brain somewhere. Eeek, TBE saffic? Can I adopt you? ~bounces~ (I do love Gavin/Tim. I do. And Gavin/Gordon. And there's sneaking het cravings I have in this fandom, although most involve Gavin. But f/f is my first and best love and this is, after all, a fandom where no one can pull the old "But there's no interesting females!" card.)

Hi everyone! I first saw The Brittas Empire when I was about 13 or 14 years old when it played on foxtel, and I remember being horribly embarrassed if my parents were watching it over my shoulder, but finding it hilarious myself! (i was afraid they'd stop me watching it, they were very overprotective television wise). I think i watched most of the show, though i can't be sure. At the time i wasn't really into taping shows, it just didn't occur to me. And by the time it did occur to me, it was the last episode, and they didn't repeat the show! Argh! It's pretty weird that i watched The Brittas Empire before Red Dwarf. I have a good memory for comedy and tv shows, so when the first series came out on dvd here in Australia about a year ago, I knew exactly what it was, and I could remember Tim and Gavin (and their names!) and Mrs Brittas, and Mr Brittas, and Laura and Colin and Carole, and by that time i'd seen Red Dwarf etc so i was way more into british comedy. I could remember a bunch of the plot lines. My brother works in blockbuster, and he bought the first series for me one day! So i had to watch only the first series for 6 months, and only recently has the second series come out here! But i really do love it, and i can remember a bunch of what happens afterwards, so i sort of play it in my head lol. Anyway, i'm 20 years old, and i'm very glad to finally be an active member here. Now watch me post like mad.

Hi! I'm quite new, not only to the forum, but also to the world of Brittas. I started watching the series a couple of months ago when they started showing it on PBS here in America. I've always loved British comedy and TBE was definitely no exception from that! I fell in love after the first show and now I'm borderline obsessed! Name: Leah Nicknames: Leah-Lou, JediLeah, Shuichi Age: 19 Education: In college Occupation: Childcare My dream? To be a writer! I've been writing stories since I was ten and I've always hoped to one day publish a book. Fav. TBE character? Tim! It was Gavin when I first started watching the series, and I still love the man to death, but I've grown more and more fond of Tim and decided he's actually my favorite. Oh yes, and I'm a big Gavin/Tim fan. I also like to write fanfiction a lot and am hoping I can write a few for this series! I'll definitely share them here as soon as they're complete.

Welcome, JediLeah Need any help, please just ask, we're all friendly and stuff. *Gives a big welcoming hug* And don't be surprised if I give you special treatment, it's just that you have a userpic that I myself use on LJ, and I may just have to love you because a) it's a great icon; b) PANDA. RE Panda: Do not ask But yes, away from my obsessive 'fetishism' for pandas (Not a freak, I'm not a freak!), welcome to the board! ;D

Hi peeps,
Well I watched Brittas when I was small, and being small (and not to smart) I forgot what it was called...I could just remember and angry father xmas on a bicycle!
So I did some Googling and came across this fab lil forum, and now I too have been gripped by a new love of all things Brittas.
Not very exciting I know, but hey!
